Over the 30 years of my psychotherapy practice, I’ve found an exploratory approach to be especially helpful. I aim to provide a safe and open environment in which anything can be explored in words. I pay close attention not only to what you say, but how you say it, and what you don’t say. In this way I can help you find the sources of trouble in your life, understand more deeply what is meaningful to you, and make the changes in your life that reflect these insights. I work with a range of people — teens and adults, men and women, straight and LGBTQ. Some of the many issues I’ve helped people with include:
* depression
* relationship issues
* anxiety
* life transitions
* creative development
* self-esteem
* identity questions
* body issues
* past trauma
* grief & loss
* self injury
